FC Copenhagen Goalkeeper Karl-Johan Johnsson Turns Into Superman Against Manchester United

Karl-Johan Johnsson was on a one man mission against Manchester United, as the FC Copenhagen goalkeeper set records in his attempts to keep the Premier League side at bay.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side struggled in their Europa League quarter final in Koln on Monday night. Early in the game Copenhagen were the better side but as the night went on the English side grew.
However even at their best United struggled to open the scoring, and it was all down to the keeper, Johnsson, with the 30-year-old having the game of his life, making 13 saves during the game and only being beaten by Bruno Fernandes' penalty.
"It's the best game of his life, it must be!" @Persie_Official

As well as the goalkeeper, United were also pretty unlucky as they had two goals disallowed for offside, a penalty decision overturned for the same reason and hit the woodwork on three occasions.
Johnsson's performance earned Copenhagen an extra 30 minutes to cause a shock and his heroics continued in extra time as he saved another Anthony Martial effort just five minutes into the additional time.
However just seconds later the Frenchman was brought down in the area to earn United their 21st penalty of the season and Fernandes scored from the spot once again.
United then came under pressure again late in extra time but Sergio Romero didn't have to make a save, unlike his opposite number, and Solskjaer's team held on for the win.
They will now face either regular opponents Wolves, in what would be their fifth meeting of the season, or Europa League experts Sevilla in the semi-final next Monday.
