Cristiano Ronaldo is a player capable of pulling off the truly remarkable, so much so that it's sometimes difficult to be surprised by him no matter what he's just done. But tonight the Real Madrid superstar left the internet aghast.
Perhaps the most surprising thing that Cristiano Ronaldo has done in recent times is not score yet in La Liga this season. Sure he's only actually played twice but that's surprising in itself.
After a five game ban, following his push on a referee in the Supercopa, CR7 has barely played for Real this season but he has still managed to knock up four goals in two Champions League games.

Tonight he bagged twice as Real continued their rather decent run in the competition by beating Borussia Dortmund 3-1, following up on his double in Los Blancos opening 3-0 win over Apoel Nicosia earlier this month.
But two goals is nothing really to note anymore for Real's top goalscorer of all time. What did surprise many though was Ronaldo's decision to pass to Gareth Bale when one-on-one with the keeper in the box. Maybe this is why he's usually selfish:

We'd feel for Ronaldo that when he doesn't pass he gets criticised and now he does he still gets it but come on man, what was that about?!
