The 28-year-old left the pitch injured in the second half but he certainly left his mark on the heavyweight clash.
Zinedine Zidane's side dominated the first half at the Bernabeu but there was VAR controversy towards the end of the half.
Los Blancos thought they were down to ten men after Thibaut Courtois was given his marching orders for taking down Mauro Icardi.
But instead of awarding a penalty and a red card, play was pulled back to the halfway line for an Idrissa Gueye foul on Marcelo.
WHAT IS GOING ON? The referee has completely changed his mind. Thibaut Courtois initially got sent off, but now the ref has given the softest foul in the build-up to that because of VAR.
Honestly, the game has gone. Absolute bollocks.

Benzema doubled Madrid's lead in the 79th minute and seemed to seal the three points.
But PSG rallied and Kylian Mbappe halved the deficit with less than ten minute to go.
Turnaround: complete :white_check_mark:
