Manchester United Fans Aren't Happy With Graeme Souness' N'Golo Kante Comment

The former Liverpool player was talking about United and Chelsea's Premier League clash last weekend.

Being a football pundit is never easy. Pretty much no matter what you say people are going to jump all over it but when you're famous for playing for one team fans of your rivals are going to hear any stupidity and that's what happened to Graeme Souness today.

Graeme Souness is either a harsh but fair straight talking pundit who knows the game or an idiot with Liverpool leaning red tinted glasses on depending on your opinion.

The former Newcastle manager can be very good at ripping teams or specific players apart when they've played really poorly but he's open to the odd mistake.

On Sunday before Chelsea's game with Manchester City the 64 year old was discussing the absent N'Golo Kante and Souness made a statement about the Frenchman's performance a week prior against Manchester United and said, "Kante ran the midfield last week at Old Trafford."

Of course Chelsea lost that game and Kante came up against Paul Pogba showing a slight return to form and an ever improving Scott McTominay and the statement didn't go down well with fans of Jose Mourinho's side:

It seems that the Blues really could have done with Kante today as they needed someone to chase down the City players who just seemed to keep the ball for 90 minutes during one of Antonio Conte's side's poorest performances.
