Tottenham Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris Suffers Horror Injury Against Brighton

Ouch.

Tottenham suffered the worst possible start to their Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday when goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was stretchered off after conceding in the second minute.

The 32-year-old appeared to suffer a serious arm injury just moments before Brighton's Neal Maupay pounced on a costly error from the French goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

As you can see in the below footage, Lloris parries away a cross from defender Dan Burn but the 32-year-old lands awkwardly.

This isn't for the faint hearted.

Lloris was visibly in a huge amount pain after the incident, screaming in agony before receiving oxygen from club doctors.

He was eventually stretchered off after several minutes and replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga as Mauricio Pochettino's side conceded yet another goal from a silly mistake.

Tottenham went on to concede a second goal in the 32nd minute through Aaron Connolly, who converted after his initial shot was saved by substitute goalkeeper Gazzaniga.

Pochettino's side, who currently in sixth place, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool, have struggled in recent months.

And these latest errors come just four days after they were smashed 7-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stages.

Thoughts on the club's current form? Is Pochettino's job still safe?
