Barcelona are looking like real contenders ahead of the new season after they announced the signing of Antoine Griezmann.

The 28-year-old, who will join the club in a reported €120 million deal, has penned a five year deal with Ernesto Valverde's side after months of transfer speculation.

Griezmann will likely be thrown straight into the first team alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, which leaves us with plenty of questions.

Will the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele get a chance in the first team? And what about forgotten man, Malcom?

One thing is for certain, the club's strength in depth ahead of the new campaign is seriously good.

Barca have spent €233 million so far this summer, bringing in four players to challenge for first team spots.

The club brought in goalkeeper Neto from Valencia for a cut price deal of €26 million.

He is likely to challenge Marc-Andre ter Stegen for the number one jersey this season after Jasper Cillessen left the club last month.

Barca have also added Brazilian defender Emerson to his plans for €12 million, a full-back who was been labelled the next Dani Alves.

And of course the addition of Frenkie de Jong from Ajax is perhaps their biggest signing to date.

It certainly leaves Ernesto Valverde with a selection headache, especially if a deal for Neymar goes through.

Here are three potential Barcelona line-ups for the upcoming 2019/20 season, including a cheeky XI involving a former player.

In terms of a potential deal for Neymar, the Brazilian has verbally agreed a five-year deal worth £400,000 a week to rejoin Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.

SPORT claim that the player has already accepted the offer from president Josep Maria Bartomeu 'without hesitation'.

Bartomeu has said that Neymar wanted to quit the French champions, but admitted that it would be very difficult to re-sign him:

"We know that he wants to leave Paris Saint Germain, but we know that they don't want him to leave, so there is no case," the 56-year-old Spaniard said.

Thoughts on Barcelona's chances next season? Can they win the Champions League with any of the above sides?
