The centre-back partnership of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have only conceded one goal in the past 1,246 minutes of football.

In the past 10 games where both have played together, Liverpool have recorded wins over Sheffield United, Manchester United and Spurs; not to mention the likes of Leicester, Southampton and Wolves.

And it was during the latter against Nuno Espirito Santo's side where striker Raul Jimenez became the last player to score against the partnership of van Dijk and Gomez.

The Mexican forward, who has scored 20 goals in 40 games this season, found space between the defenders to head home.

It was a rare lapse of judgement from the pair, who have been instrumental to Liverpool's remarkable form this season.

The Reds are 25 points clear at the top of the Premier League ladder after securing all three points against Norwich on Saturday afternoon, and are still looking strong in Champions League and FA Cup competition.
