New Balance have dropped a brand new, limited edition "blackout" Liverpool kit for the 2019/20 season.

The "blackout" jersey is part of the brand's "Live it" campaign for the football club, which "champions the legendary spirit that unites Reds across the world", according to Liverpool's official website.

The shirt is modelled on the club's home jersey for 2019/20 and builds on the centenary celebrations of Bob Paisley OBE's birth.

A pin stripe design draws inspiration from Liverpool's 1982/83 strip, when Paisley was the club's manager.

The club icon's signature is inscribed on the inside of the neck and the jersey also features iridescent detailing on the front.

The jersey employs the same pioneering New Balance design and technology as the club's 19/20 home shirt.

New Balance DRY technology helps to keep fans fresh and dry, according to the club website, while a bonded chest seam, placement ventilation and a back body map aid freedom of movement and ventilation.

As we've told you previously, strip manufacturers New Balance received more than their fair share of criticism last season after revealing the club's new bold purple away kit, and the grey 'European' uniform.

But it seems they have maken amends with supporters after designing this classy new jersey.
