In other fantasy football-related news, Sky Sports Fantasy Football has revealed the most selected team by football fans ahead of the new campaign.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, who won last season's Premier League Golden Glove, has been picked by 67 per cent of users for their starting XIs, while Virgil van Dijk secured an impressive 82 per cent of the vote.

Another Liverpool player, Mohamed Salah (70 per cent) is featured in a deadly attacking trio that includes Spurs striker Harry Kane (51 per cent) and City striker Sergio Aguero (51 per cent).
