And he couldn't resist having a pop at his rivals to raise tensions going into the game.
"They celebrated that lucky goal - that lucky moment they had in the last seconds of the match - (like it) was the final of a World Cup for us, and for them."
In the last meeting between the sides, Liverpool emerged with a 1-0 victory at Anfield thanks to Divock Origi's 96th-minute winner in December.

That goal sparked wild scenes among the players, Klopp's coaching staff and the Liverpool fans.
And that's something Silva believes was a bit over the top.
It's unlike Silva to say something so confrontational in the media, but he may be hoping it serves as a way of getting Liverpool emotional and helps his Everton team get the win.

The Toffees snapped a three-game losing run with their 3-0 win away at Cardiff in midweek and they'll be hoping to build on that as we move into the final months of the season.
But will they beat Liverpool?
The fact Klopp and his men are into the latter stages of a title race with Manchester City suggests that could be a huge ask.
