Barcelona To Release Behind The Scenes Footage From Inside Dressing Room At Anfield

FC Barcelona sponsors Rakuten have announced that a documentary series of the 2018/19 season will be released next month, meaning behind the scenes footage of 'that' defeat to Liverpool will be aired for the first time.

It has been confirmed that there will be eight episodes in the collaboration, including locker room footage and game day action.

And it looks like footage from Barcelona's unforgettable Champions League semi-final defeat to Liverpool in May will feature.

Jurgen Klopp's side completed one of the most incredible comebacks in football history when they overturned a three goal deficit to beat the Spanish champions 4-0.

Goals from Divock Origi (2) and Gini Wijnaldum (2) sealed the win as Liverpool progressed to the final, where they went on to beat Tottenham in a quite drab affair.

Check out the official trailer from Rakuten's official YouTube channel.

They describe the video with the following caption.

"From Barça Studios comes Matchday, the official documentary exploring the offside action known only a select few; the legendary players of FC Barcelona. For the first time, the camera follows the world-class team, visiting the highs and lows both on and off the pitch. Live the energy, the pressure and the glory that makes up each and every game."

Since that memorable day at Anfield, it appears Barcelona have yet to fully recover from the 4-0 thrashing. The champions find themselves in fourth position having won four, drawn one and lost two.

Do you think they can recover and win La Liga this season?

Let us know in the comments.
