Ahead of the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, the guys over at Adidas released a boot like no other.

The F50.6 Tunit would give players the opportunity to personalise their boot configuration down to preference in order to gain optimal performance no matter what the playing surface.

The boots consisted of a upper, sole, chassis and studs that were completely modular and interchangeable.

The iconic dark blue and yellow trim colourway was just one of several released by Adidas at the time, and now rumours suggest that they will return to the market in late 2019 or 2020, according to Footy Headlines.

Adidas has reportedly chosen the above classic colorway of the Adidas F50.6 Tunit to re-release.

It appears they will be a direct remake of the original boot released in 2006, worn most notably by Lionel Messi, Ashley Cole and Lukas Podolski.

The ever reliable Footy Headlines posted the following images of the 2019/20 Tunit remakes.

The famous boots that Zinedine Zidane wore at the 2006 World Cup were also remade.

Footy Headlines leaked images of the boots have surfaced online, showing that they will combine the colours of gold metallic, white and collegiate navy

In fact, freelance illustrator and designer thelimebath created an amazing image to show what the final product could look like.

When he was speaking about the Predator X, Zizou revealed it was the brand he wore throughout his career.

"Having worn Predators throughout my career, I've always been amazed with the continued product development and what each new version of the boot bought to my game," he said via Footy Boot.

"With Predator X, I've been working with Adidas to help lend my football experience to their product knowledge to truly deliver the next step in boot technology."
