Cheering a rival club?

Dare I say the Premier League title race was just decided by a matter of centimetres after Sergio Aguero's shot in the 63rd minute edged over the line.

Aguero's 20th goal of the season against a hard working Burnley side on Sunday afternoon sent his side back to the top of the Premier League ladder.

And it wasn't just City supporters who were celebrating the goal.

There are claims on Twitter that there was a 'loud cheer' around Old Trafford when Pep Guardiola's side took the lead.

Manchester United fans may want Liverpool to fail in their bid for Premier League glory but the fact they cheered on their local rivals - who beat them 2-0 earlier in the week - has caused quite a stir online.

"I just hope and pray too that we never see the day as Liverpool fans that we have to cheer on Everton. It would be stomach churning and soul destroying." one Liverpool fan said.

"From Ferguson calling City "the noisy neighbours" to supporting them in six years is a rapid decline" said another.

Do you think Manchester City will win the Premier League title after their latest win against Burnley?
