The controversy came just minutes after Sergio Ramos scored the winning penalty after Marcelo was deemed to have been fouled inside the box courtesy of an intervention from VAR.
The Spanish defender stepped on Raul Garcia's foot in the area but this time, the technology didn't check the decision and Zinedine Zidane's side went on to win the game 1-0, extending their lead over Barcelona in La Liga.
