La Liga want this month's El Clasico to be moved from Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium to Real Madrid's Bernabeu amid political unrest.
Ernesto Valverde's side are due to play Los Blancos at home on October 26th but there are concerns that ongoing political protests could have an impact on the game, with 'civil unrest' being cited.
Days of protests have taken place in Barcelona after nine Catalan separatist leaders were jailed on Monday.
It is also believed that a large demonstration is planned on the day of El Clasico, but La Liga want to avoid security being compromised.

"We have requested the competitions committee of the RFEF to meet and change the location of El Clasico to Madrid because of exceptional circumstances beyond our control." said a spokesman from La Liga.
Barcelona, however, believe there is "no issue" with the Nou Camp despite ongoing protests.
