Lionel Messi left the Camp Nou on Wednesday night with many things, including a memento from a certain James Milner.
Barcelona's main man was the talk of social media. He not only scored a brace against Jurgen Klopp's side but his overall performance was a joy to behold, and he deservedly brought home the Man of the Match award.

As well as the positives, Messi must have arrived back home with a few bumps and bruises after a collision with James Milner on the sideline.
A moment that has been dubbed 'revenge'.
BT Sport reminded us that four years ago, in a Champions League game against Manchester City, a certain Lionel Messi nutmegged Milner, a moment that was replayed over and over again for years to come.

Barca went on to knock the Premier League side out of the competition after a 1-0 win at the Camp Nou.
People therefore believe that the Liverpool midfielder's shoulder barge on Messi last night, was a little slice of revenge.
"He waited four years to get that tackle in!"
Back in 2017, the former Manchester City player spoke about that nutmeg for the first time when deciding to include Messi in his 'Ultimate XI' team.

"Messi has to be in there," Milner said to Liverpool TV.
"I've played against against him a few of times in the Champions League and most people probably remember the nutmeg on myself.
"I won't be the first and I won't be the last who got megged by him."
You certainly weren't the last, James.
