Premier League referee Mike Dean gave his adoring fans a flavour of things to come at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 51-year-old, with a cheeky grin on his face, produced his first dummy of the season during Manchester City's visit to West Ham.

Stepping over Oleksandr Zinchenko's pass to Raheem Sterling in the middle of the park, Dean glides across the surface like a Gazelle.

He would slot into Manchester City's midfield with ease. What you reckon, Pep?

The Premier League champions went ahead thanks to a tidy finish from Gabriel Jesus in the 25th minute following great work from Kyle Walker down the right wing.

But the antics of Mike Dean grabbed the headlines as Pep Guardiola's side go into the second half with a 1-0 lead.

Here's a clip of that sublime dummy from the Wirral-born official.

Never change, Mike.

From letting Lewis Dunk know to leave the pitch by saying "off you pop!" to becoming the first referee to reach 100 red cards, it was sensational 2018/19 season for the 50-year-old.

Let's hope he can build on last season's spectacular form in the coming months.
