Gareth Bale Was Doing The Bottle Flip Challenge Whilst On The Bench Against Valencia

"Real Madrid are paying Gareth Bale £500,000 per week to do the Bottle flip challenge on the bench."

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale entertained himself on a cold Sunday night in Valencia by attempting a number of 'bottle flip challenges.'

Just minutes before he was brought on in the second half of Los Blancos' 1-1 draw at the Mestalla, the 30-year-old was spotted throwing a bottle on numerous occasions as his teammates looked on.

As you can see in the below footage, Casemiro and Éder Militão were seen laughing at the Welsh winger during a goalless first half as he tried to land the perfect shot.

Bale's latest antics on the substitutes bench come just weeks after he has been filmed practicing his golfing skills during a Real Madrid training session.

The Welsh international was seen practicing his swing as he walks over to a ball in training, but it didn't end there.

He also mimiced a putting action before passing the ball through a series of obstacles.

Bale and his love of golf started out as a joke but it has become a giant controversy in Spain, with the media reporting on his actions on an almost daily basis.

He posed with the infamous 'Wales, Golf, Madrid' banner after Wales qualified for the European Championships - and the situation has spiralled out of control.

The Madrid crowd certainly gave him a hostile reception on his return from international duty earlier this month.

But despite his ongoing antics, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane claimed he remains "one of us" at the Bernabeu ahead of their clash against Valencia.

"I don't think Gareth's role is less important now. I'm making my decisions, you know?" Zidane said on Saturday.

"I made three changes during the last match and Gareth wasn't there. But Gareth is one of us, like always, he's here and I'm going to count on him.

"You need to know that I have 25 players and they´re all important to me. All of them."
