In terms of awkward celebrations, this hilarious moment involving Ludogorets midfielder Wanderson might just claim the number one spot.
The Brazilian born Bulgarian playmaker was convinced that he'd scored the winning goal in the club's Bulgarian First League game against Slavia Sofia at the weekend.
To celebrate, he leapfrogged the advertising boards and ran towards the crowd.
The 31-year-old then called his wife down from the stands and proceeded to give her a big sloppy kiss.
But unbeknown to Wanderson, the goal had actually been ruled out for offside and play continued as he celebrated with his lover.
The sheer horror on his face when he realised that play had continued is priceless.
To add insult to injury, the goal should have been allowed as the Brazilian was in an onside position when the ball was whipped in.
Slavia's goalkeeper didn't care though as he kicked the ball down the field.
Moments later, Wanderson casually strolled onto the pitch with a grin on his face and play continued.
Ludogorets (in green) were denied a crystal clear goal for an offside that never was. Scorer Wanderson ran to the stands where he celebrated by kissing his wife without realising his goal was ruled out. The kiss, though, stood  pic.twitter.com/0pDbpSwN3g
