Antoine Griezmann Now Has Braids In His Hair And It's The Boldest Look Of 2020

Antoine Griezmann has lined up for Barcelona this evening with his hair in braids and it could be one of the bolder style choices of 2020.

The Catalan giants face Real Sociedad in a vital clash and Griezmann starts the game out wide.

Griezmann has grown his hair out in recent years and rocked all kinds of trims. But he emerged for the pre-match warm-up sporting a new look.

It's a departure from his usual ponytail and an incredibly unique turn for the 29-year-old.

Griezmann's locks have been a hot topic among Barcelona fans and some are even convinced his playing ability is linked.

But the Frenchman hit back in a recent interview and said he will continue to grow his hair no matter what.

"I will keep my hair long even if they ask me to cut it. My children and my wife want me to keep it," Griezmann told Universo Valdano.

"Since my arrival at Barcelona, I have not spoken. I said at the time that I only want to speak on the pitch, not publicly.

"I have been putting up with many different comments, and now I've said enough is enough. It is time to put things right."

Griezmann has scored three goals in 11 La Liga games this season as Barcelona sit eighth in the table.
