So, despite being left out of Southgate's latest squad, there were plenty of calls for Alexander-Arnold to start at right-back amid his slump in form.
A centre-back pairing of Harry Maguire and John Stones appeared to be the most popular among our readers with a couple of shouts for Tyrone Mings.
Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice were the preferred central midfielders ahead of Jordan Henderson.
