Football fans are furious that a Tottenham Hotspur fan who threw a banana skin at Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has received a £500 fine.
Averof Panteli, 57, admitted to the offence and has also received a four-year ban from football, though he denies any racial motivation behind the attack.
BBC Sport reports that his fine came to a total of £500, which included £100 for the racial element and £135 in costs.
The 29-year-old Gunners striker was targeted after he scored in Arsenal's 4-2 win over Spurs at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month.
"If there's anyone that needs me to apologise to, I will," Panteli said. "Ian Wright, Aubameyang, Arsenal players, Tottenham players and especially Tottenham [...] football club and my fellow Tottenham fans.
"I'd like to apologise to them, it wasn't meant to offend anyone whatsoever."
However, fans have stormed to Twitter to show their outrage at the fine and the four-year ban.

Panteli, who resides in Norwich, has been handed a lifetime ban from the club.
"He has not been charged for any racially aggravated public order offence," his solicitor, Leila Rasool, told Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court.
"He was arrested for that but no action has been taken in respect of that matter.
"Police directly told Mr Panteli they accepted his account and didn't think there was a racial element."
