Tottenham's Moussa Sissoko Stamps On Manchester United's Daniel James During Pre-Season Friendly
Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is being criticised for a 'dangerous' challenge on Manchester United winger Daniel James during the club's pre-season game in Shanghai.
The 29-year-old went through United's new signing in the first half of the International Champions Cup fixture, before appearing to stamp on James.
The incident happened shortly after Anthony Martial gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side the lead in the 21st minute.
Many believe the French midfielder should have been sent off for his challenge on the former Swansea player.
United's new signing Daniel James has certainly impressed this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is delighted to have James in his squad ahead of the new season.
"Daniel is an exciting young winger with lots of skills, vision, exceptional pace and a good work ethic." he said.
"He had a great season with Swansea City and has all the attributes needed to become a Manchester United player," he said after securing his services on a five-year contract.
"We are delighted he has signed with our club and we are all looking forward to working with him. This is the perfect environment for Daniel to continue his development."
