Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe attempted to produce his own 'Hand of God' moment in the Coupe de la Ligue semi-final against Stade Reims on Wednesday night.

With the game all wrapped up at 3-0 after goals from Marquinhos, Kouassi and an own goal from Ghislain Konan, an opportunistic Mbappe was ready to score at all costs when he glided past goalkeeper Predrag Rajković after an almighty scramble in the box.

But as he was falling over, the French forward reached out his left hand to knock the ball into an empty net.

No, seriously this actually happened.

After attempting to score with his hand, Mbappe looked around sheepishly and he was right to look a little edgy.

The referee brandished his yellow card and well, all he could do was laugh.

Mbappe's clear handball wasn't the only stand out incident during an eventful Coupe de la Ligue semi-final against Stade Reims.

PSG forward Neymar bagged himself an assist as the French champions romped to victory, but his pass of the night was the one he directed with his backside.

Paris Saint-Germain will now play Lyon in the French Cup final later this year after the Ligue 1 side beat Lille on penalties following a tense 2-2 draw at the Groupama stadium.

Can Thomas Tuchel's side secure another piece of silverware?
