Chelsea fans are fuming over the sale of one of their best youngsters to a fellow Premier League club.

Thomas Tuchel's side have been linked with a bunch of players ahead of the new season.

From Juventus winger Federico Chiesa to Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, among many others.

The club are also set to trim their squad to fund their new signings, but Chelsea supporters are NOT happy with the latest outgoing.

According to David Ornstein, Crystal Palace are close to completing the permanent signing of Marc Guehi in a deal worth a reported £20 million.

The 21-year-old defender, who starred for Swansea City last season, is set to pen a five-year deal at Selhurst Park.

While the Blues have a sell-on clause and matching rights on a future move, their fans have taken to social media to express their anger.

One Twitter user wrote: "Well that's my week ruined."

A second tweeted: "We better be attempting to sign Marquinhos."

A third added: "What are we doing?" Another commented: "This one hurts."

Guehi was signed by the Chelsea academy after they scouted him at a young age.

He made his Chelsea debut in the 2019/20 season, making his bow in a League Cup match against Grimsby Town.

He played in another cup fixture before being sent out on loan to Swansea for the rest of the term.

Guehi returned to the Championship club last season and made a huge impression as he helped them to the play-off final.

Despite his stellar performances at the back, Chelsea plan to get rid of him ahead of the new season.
