Gary Cahill's comments on the Champions League draw is the complete opposite to Eden Hazard.

Chelsea failed to beat Atletico Madrid in the last round of Group Stage games. The defending English champions drew 1-1 with their Spanish counterparts, resulting in AS Roma topping the group.

Antonio Conte's charges now face the prospect of facing either Paris Saint-Germain or Barcelona in the next stage of the Champions League.

Hazard's reaction: Bring them on.

"It's not a problem. We are Chelsea. We can face any team. We know PSG and Barcelona, they are very good. But we are Chelsea and we have to be ready for everything. We can do everything," he told BT Sports.

The Belgium ace is in defiant mood ahead of Monday's knockout draw.

Conte echoed Hazard's sentiment.

"This is a fantastic competition, this is the best tournament. If you want to go through, if you want to try to be protagonists in this tournament, you must be ready to face the best teams. Our opponent won't be happy to play against us," he said via Independent.

However, Chelsea's captain doesn't share the same view as Hazard.

"To get to and win the final, of course we have to beat the best teams. But let's not lie as well, let's hope we dodge them and progress," Cahill said via Evening Standard.

"You expect to see the very, very big teams later on. At this stage of the competition, those that qualify are top teams - you can't dodge anyone too much - but I hope the draw is a good one for us.

Needless to say, the Chelsea faithful's took issue to his mentality.
