Alvaro Morata Is Getting Absolute Pelters From Chelsea Fans After Today's Performance

Alvaro Morata may have made a promising start to his Chelsea career, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances since arriving from Real Madrid in a £58 million move this summer, but the last month or so has been difficult for the Spanish striker, who has struggled for form and has been dealing with a couple of fitness issues.
And, having come off the bench to make a cameo appearance during the Premier League champions' narrow 1-0 home victory over Southampton today, the Spanish striker took absolute pelters off Chelsea fans on social media, with his lack of physicality being highlighted.
Morata was signed as a replacement for Diego Costa, who was sold to Atletico Madrid earlier this year having fired the Blues to two Premier League titles in three seasons. And some Chelsea fans are now crying out for Morata to employ a bit of the same toughness that Costa showed during his three years at Stamford Bridge.
Morata is such a frustrating player. If that's Diego Costa he bodies that guy out the way. Morata always going to ground

If Nathan Redmond can send Morata flying like that then anyone can. Get used to seeing him flapping about on the floor every week, it won't change.

What do you make of the reactions to Morata's slight dip in form? Are Chelsea fans overreacting or do they have genuine cause for concern with the Spanish striker?
