Arsenal midfielder Alexis Sanchez has been showing off his bruised ankle, and fans of the north London club won't be exactly thrilled by how it's looking.
Sanchez picked up the injury whilst playing for Chile in the weekend's Copa America final against Argentina, following a vicious tackle just three minutes into the game.
Rather than ask to be substituted, Sanchez played the entire 90 minutes, as well as half an hour of extra time before taking a penalty in the ensuing shoot-out.

Incase you missed it, Sanchez uploaded the following picture shortly after the game finished via his Twitter account:
Three days later...
There's been no time-frame put on when he's likely to be back in action, but by the looks of things, Sanchez could be a doubt to play any part in Arsenal's Premier League opener against Liverpool on August 13.

A big miss.
