Manchester United Fans Aren't Impressed With The Latest Transfer Rumour

Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal is being linked with a sensational move to Manchester United this summer - but the club's supporters reckon it could turn out to be a big error by Jose Mourinho.
With Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini, and probably a couple of more midfielders, leaving in the summer, Mourinho is known to be on the lookout for a world class central player, probably to partner Paul Pogba.
Chilean newspaper La Cuarta are reporting that Manchester United are "moving heavy in" on the signing of Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich. They claim that Man United are ready to offer $60m (€48m) for Vidal and a salary of $18m-a-year (€14,5m-a-year) in addition to bonuses pic.twitter.com/6QQ2kt5bNS

And reports in Vidal's native Chile are claiming today that United are willing to pay Bayern a whopping $60 million for the former Juventus star, as well as offering him a $18 million yearly salary.
He's dominated the midfield in the Bundesliga and Serie A for many years now, and there's little doubt that Vidal has proven himself to be a world class performer, but he turns 31 in May - how long will he realistically have left as an elite footballer?
United fans would usually welcome news of a mammoth transfer, but this rumour hasn't gone down too well at all:
Too old. We need young players with room to develop not another player in his 30s who'll need replacing in 2 years. https://t.co/aQOfzLnoJ1

This short term thing he has going on needs to stop. Yeah Vidal is world class but we don't need players who only have 3yrs max left of their careers https://t.co/C1qPyoGdoG

Move Makes sense for all parties lol
Couple years too late. Would be unreal but just feel it's kinda late. Never know with Jose and his need for older players though. Vidal at 30  https://t.co/6y7IZ5qJ3l

Vidal an absolutely class player but 31 in May. How many years does he have at the very top - 2-3 max?

What do you think of the idea? Would United improve with Vidal in their team?
