Manchester United Fans Are Fuming With What Herrera Did Against Leicester

Gary Neville made an observation about Ander Herrera in last night's 2-2 draw with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium and it's fair to say United fans aren't happy the Spaniard.
With United 2-1 up and looking to see out the game, Herrera was sent on in the 76th minute, replacing Jesse Lingard for Jose Mourinho's penultimate substitution, a few minutes before Henrikh Mkhitaryan was on in place of Juan Mata, who looked like he was going to be the match winner after his double.
The visitors were dealt a blow late on though when Chris Smalling suffered a groin injury and looked in discomfort. With all subs used, the England international tried to play on.
And as Neville picked up on during his commentary on the game, Phil Jones wanted to reshuffle the shape of the team slightly so that United could protect their injured player somewhat.
Gary Neville: "Ander Herrera refused to go to right-back and told Henrik Mkhitaryan to go back there. You can't believe the disorganisation and lack of leadership shown by Manchester United at the end of that game in a game they should have won."

He asked Victor Lindelof to come into the centre, and Herrera to move to right-back. But as per Neville, the former Athletic Bilbao man refused and that ended up costing United, as Smalling continued to struggle and couldn't get in a position to pick up goalscorer Harry Maguire in the last kick of the game after only just coming back on from the sidelines.
Herrera, who hasn't been up to scratch this season after being one of the club's best players last term, was subject to plenty of grief from fans on social media:
If this is true about Herrera saying NO about going RB then he can go in January for me. Selfish act. Not good enough.

If it's true and Herrera actually refused to go in at RB, so Lindelof could swap with Smalling.......#MUFC pic.twitter.com/AyfYVK99f9

Why didn't Jones tell Smalling to f--k off to the right wing out of the way, bring Lindelof in and drag someone alongside him? We have no leaders on that pitch. If, as Neville claimed Herrera refused to play rb he wants selling. No heart in this lot.

Herrera refusing to go to right back and Smalling staying on whilst injured cost us more points. Two points down the drain

And fucking Herrera refusing to go to right back for a whole 3 minutes so Lindeloff could go to centre back to help out Jones whilst smalling was injured... fucking prick

If Herrera did refuse to go to right back for the final few minutes he should be gone in the coming window.

Are Herrera's days at Old Trafford numbered?
