One Liverpool fan clearly doesn't rate their former No.21...

Lucas Leiva felt the need to reply to a Liverpool fan on Instagram after he started slagging him off.

The Brazilian made over 300 appearances for the Reds in a 10-year stint, and was a popular figure amongst the vast majority of fans.

He left for Serie A side Lazio in the summer for a fee in the region of £5 million and scored his first goal for the Rome giants in a 3-2 defeat against Zulte Waregem in the Europa League last night.

It was an exquisite way to open his account, as the former Gremio man produced a gorgeous, instinctive backheel in the box to level matters in the 76th minute.

His former Liverpool colleague Gini Wijnaldum was a big fan of the goal and decided to share the goal on his Instagram but that's where the beef ensued.

The majority of the comments on the post were positive towards Lucas, who is still held in high regard by Liverpool fans and seen as a good servant to the club.

However, one chap known as '@Rumboldinho78' has a bit of a disdain for the 30-year old and thought he'd let everyone now how much he hates him.

He called Lucas "the worst player in LFC's history" and reckons he gave away too many free-kicks in his time at Anfield.

Lucas felt obliged to reply and though his comment didn't fully make sense, "go to bed mate" was a great way to put down his troll.

He didn't exactly call it a day there though, proceeding to argue with a load of Liverpool fans and continuing to criticise Lucas.

Is a Stan-Eminem situation brewing here?! Bloody hell, the bloke clearly doesn't like Lucas. It doesn't seem like it's getting to him too much though, as he took to Instagram to post about Thursday's game - and Lazio's qualification to the knockout stages.
