Gary Lineker knows a thing or two about how to be successful playing in El Clasico. It was no surprise that Barcelona fans loved his post match summary, especially because it included a little dig at Neymar.

These days Lineker is synonymous with Leicester City, mainly because of the whole presenting Match of the Day in his pants because of them, but his career saw him claim success with Everton, Spurs and even Barcelona.

There aren't too many people who can claim they've scored a hat-trick for Barcelona against their fierce rivals Real Madrid, even Messi's 'only' done it twice, and Lineker is on that list scoring all three in a 3-2 win back in 1987.

On Saturday afternoon that Catalan side once again notched three past Los Blancos, this time at the Bernabeu and without Real getting on the scoresheet.

After the match Lineker took to Twitter to make a point about Barca's dominance and the fact it's all without the man that left them in the summer, Neymar:

Everyone was expecting Barca to struggle this season without the Brazilian but according to a lot of fans there's an obvious reason for their fortunes being completely different to what was predicted, Paulinho:

It might also have something to do with the fact that Lionel Messi's just a bit bloody brilliant...
