Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's Comments On Coutinho Made Twitter Erupt

Everyone has had their say on the Philipe Coutinho's transfer saga including Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and it's to fair his comments will definitely piss off the Liverpool faithfuls.

The Brazilian remains subject to intense transfer speculation. Barcelona continue to pursue the player with a couple of mega offers rejected by Liverpool.

The club outlined their intentions by releasing an official statement saying Coutinho is not for sale. Shortly after, the player handed in a transfer request.

Barcelona have a cool £198 million sitting in the bank following the sale of Neymar, and the Catalans have identified the fellow Brazilian as his replacement.

Though his transfer continues to rumble on with Hasselbaink taking to Twitter to share his sympathies with Liverpool while throwing shade at the club. He posted the following message:

"I have a great deal of sympathy for #LFC over Phillippe Coutinho. Its not that I think he is unhappy but when a big club come calling?"

After implying Liverpool are a small club, needless to say, it sent his mentions into overdrive. Here are some of the reactions:
