Just as Switzerland vs Poland was petering out to a bog standard and pretty dull 1-0 win for the Poles Xherdan Shaqiri popped up with a Goal of the Tournament contender and reminded everyone of the late goal 'curse' that has wonderfully taken over Euro 2016.
Switzerland had just started knocking on the door after Poland took the lead in the first half but it never really looked like they'd score with Stefan Seferovic's shot against the crossbar the closest the Swiss came by far.
But with full-time looming and into the last 10 minutes Stoke City forward Shaqiri got on the edge of the box as the ball was half cleared and the former Bayern man twisted his body in the air to strike an incredible equaliser and the goal of the tournament so far. The most famous man from Switzerland was the first to react as Twitter exploded:
