Gamer Discovers Mohamed Salah 'Diving Trait' Glitch On FIFA 20 Demo

Gamer Discovers Mohamed Salah 'Diving Trait' Glitch On FIFA 20 Demo

Awkward.

EA Sports dropped the FIFA 20 demo for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on Tuesday afternoon as gamers scuttled to try out the latest gameplay.

There are a host of brand new features in the upcoming release, including controlled tackling, composed finishing and strafe dribbling and we can't wait to try them out.

But the unfortunate inclusion of Mohamed Salah's 'diving trait' in the demo might just be the funniest glitch yet.

Reddit user u/SizerCosy posted footage of the Liverpool winger going to ground on the FIFA 20 demo, despite there being no contact from those around him.

Salah goes down dramatically, arms flailing in the air, before the gamer stops the instant replay clip.

"FIFA learns from PES and adds in the "Dive" buttons!" said one gamer.

At the start of the year, Salah was accused of simulation by many fans after he won soft penalties against Newcastle and Brighton.

And the guys over at EA Sports appeared to troll the Egyptian player, giving him a 'Diver' trait on FIFA 19.

One user posted a screenshot on the FIFA subreddit and a quick browse on FIFA Index shows that Salah has indeed received the new characteristic as part of a new update.

He already had the following traits: Beat Offside Trap, Finesse Shot, Speed Dribbler (CPU AI Only), Chip Shot (CPU AI Only) and Backs Into Player.

But Salah now joins the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Arjen Robben in being an expert in diving on the game.

The trolling on EA's part could lead to some fun on FIFA 19 - though it won't be too enjoyable if it comes at your expense.

Have you tried out the new FIFA 20 demo yet? What are your thoughts on the gameplay?
