If you score a hat-trick in any competitive fixture then you fully deserve to take home the match ball, there's no denying that.
But do you really deserve to keep it if you assist three goals?

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander Arnold recorded that feat on Wednesday night, becoming the youngest player to get three assists in a single Premier League game against Watford.
It was a great achievement but many thought his decision to take home the match ball after the game was a bit too far.
That's right. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Trent kept the match ball following his hat-trick of assists and plenty ripped into the England international.
