Between Spain and Germany yesterday one of the countries was going to be left with a feeling they aren't used to, a runners-up medal. There's no way Hector Bellerin would have thought he'd be so scrutinised for accepting his.
When it comes to tournament football, certainly in the last decade, there isn't really many teams on the level of Germany and Spain, they just seem to know how to win tournaments.
In 2008, 2010 and 2012 it was Spain who were victorious in back-to-back European Championships and a World Cup thrown in for good measure in the middle. Germany of course took the 2014 World Cup and have been used to winning stuff for a long time.
So when the two sides met in the European u21 Championships final last night one of the teams was going to have that unfamiliar of having to walk past a trophy without lifting it up.
To most people's surprise it was Germany who were victorious but rather than concentrate on them lifting the trophy it was a player on the losing side, Hector Bellerin, who most people seemed interested by:

Poor Bellerin, he just wanted to put it with his FA Cup winners medals!
The Spaniard has been linked with a move back to Barcelona this summer and that usually comes with a lot more winners medals than being at Arsenal!
