Arsenal are currently five points above the relegation zone and their horrific fixture list could see them slide into the bottom three.

The Gunners slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Brighton last night and haven't won a game since October.

Their misery could be compiled over the next month thanks to a horrific run of fixtures over the festive period.

Interim manager Freddie Ljungberg takes his side to the London Stadium to take on West Ham on Monday night.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are in poor form but they did beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend so it's possible they could pull out another performance.

Sunday 15th December then sees them host champions Manchester City, who Arsenal haven't beaten in the league since 2015.

Managerless Everton are next up at Goodison Park on December 21st.

The Toffees are currently in the bottom three and sacked Marco Silva on Thursday evening.

Should they hire a new manager before that game, it's entirely possible he sees Arsenal as a big scalp to claim.

Bournemouth are their Boxing Day fixture and three days later they welcome Frank Lampard's Chelsea to the Emirates Stadium.

Three days after that, it's Manchester United on New Year's Day.

United have been poor this season but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have performed better against the 'big' teams this season.

The prospect of relegation is a real fear for Arsenal fans.

Arsenal Fan TV regular Lee Judges has even said he fears his side could plummet into the Championship.

"At this moment, I fear for us, for relegation.

"Why I fear for us is that we have not got enough players that can fight a relegation battle.

"When you get into a relegation battle, you have to fight and sort out a defence like the other teams do.

"We aren't capable of it."

He also stated that this season is already a 'write-off'.

Whoever comes in as Arsenal's new boss has a huge job on their hands.
