Fans Can't Believe Antoine Griezmann Didn't Name De Gea As World's Best

The Atletico Madrid forward reckons that Jan Oblak is the best goalkeeper in the world, that hasn't gone down well with De Gea fans.

The best in the world is always a subjective matter which has a lot of debate. For Antoine Griezmann the best goalkeeper in the world is Jan Oblak, for a lot of other people that it should be David de Gea.

People have never been able to agree on who the best player in the world is between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi so when Mo Salah has been added recently there's no chance of people agreeing just how good he is.

This would be some Atletico team, but lord knows why De Gea isn't in net:

But it's not just in the forward positions where people disagree with each other, it's all the other positions too.

Everyone loves a debate about who the best goalkeeper in the world is and for a lot of time that's been Manuel Neuer. But with the German having been out injured for so long and David de Gea getting better and better it seems the United number one may have overtaken the Bayern Munich goalie.

However for Antoine Griezmann it's Atletico Madrid's own Jan Oblak with the French forward saying, "Jan is the best in the world at this time. Not because he's my team-mate but because of the saves he makes, the points he wins us."

And Manchester United fans definitely don't agree:

Of course Griezmann was reacting after Oblak was brilliant on Thursday night to thwart Arsenal in the Europa League semi-final first leg.

Oblak made numerous saves, including one brilliant stop from an Aaron Ramsey header, after Atleti were reduced to 10 men and if it wasn't for his heroics Diego Simeone's side wouldn't have had a chance to draw level.

Who is the better goalkeeper?
