Bristol City embarrassed Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and Manchester United fans were in no doubt that Matteo Darmian was the man to blame as they called for him to be sold.
There couldn't have been many fans who expected Bristol City to beat Manchester United on Wednesday, especially when the Premier League side announced Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their line up.
Whilst it would be lying to say those four players, amongst others, didn't perform to their best it certainly wasn't the deciding factor in the match, Bristol were just that damn good and deserved their win.

One player who was nowhere near 'that damn good' but arguably also didn't underperform was Matteo Darmian who was just as rubbish as perhaps some United fans would have expected.
After both goals came down the Italian's side fans of the Red Devils took to Twitter to vent their feelings and call on him to be sold:
It's all well and good fans calling on the team to sell Darmian but anyone watching last night would not want to buy him in the slightest.

One thing is for sure, after last night's performance there's quite a few Manchester United fringe players whose futures could soon come into question and Jose Mourinho will certainly be hoping to improve his squad strength.
