Manchester United Fans All Want The Club To Sell Matteo Darmian
Bristol City embarrassed Manchester United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night and Manchester United fans were in no doubt that Matteo Darmian was the man to blame as they called for him to be sold.
There couldn't have been many fans who expected Bristol City to beat Manchester United on Wednesday, especially when the Premier League side announced Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their line up.
Whilst it would be lying to say those four players, amongst others, didn't perform to their best it certainly wasn't the deciding factor in the match, Bristol were just that damn good and deserved their win.

One player who was nowhere near 'that damn good' but arguably also didn't underperform was Matteo Darmian who was just as rubbish as perhaps some United fans would have expected.
After both goals came down the Italian's side fans of the Red Devils took to Twitter to vent their feelings and call on him to be sold:
Darmian is one of the worst players I've ever seen play for United.- Ryan Johnson (@rmjsport) December 20, 2017
I will be shocked if Darmian ever plays a game for Man Utd again. Useless- Agent Edward :bust_in_silhouette: (@Agent_Edward) December 20, 2017
What was Darmian doing?! Imagine thinking at any point he was a better option than Shaw in any position.- Kristian Sturt - Transfer News (@FootieWriter) December 20, 2017
Matteo Darmian has to go down as one the worst signings in recent history. Has to be sold in January. #mufc- United Xtra (@utdxtra) December 20, 2017
Last time we'll ever see Darmian & Blind.- United Religion (@Unitedology) December 20, 2017
I'mma say it. I never want to see Darmian play for the club again.- Jordan Clarke (@FourFourJordan) December 20, 2017
Seems like a nice bloke but he's absolutely shite at football.
Saw it coming a mile away. Just not good enough. Darmian doesn't deserve to wear the shirt.- Tobjingle :yellow_heart: (@Tobjizzle) December 20, 2017
Check Darmian's passport...the most non-Italian defender you'll ever see #MUFC- Jonathan Shrager (@JonathanShrager) December 20, 2017
Very hard to believe that Daley Blind or Matteo Darmian have a future at Manchester United alongside the likely Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Tonight has made that much clear.- Adam Joseph (@AdamJosephSport) December 20, 2017
Bristol City's manager has just thanked Jose for "the words he had with me before the game"- Jay (@RFFH) December 20, 2017
I'm guessing those words were: "I'm starting Matteo Darmian"
Still remember Darmian was compared to Gary Neville after his first 5 games under Van Gaal..:joy::joy::joy:- JM. (@Joselogy) December 21, 2017
It's all well and good fans calling on the team to sell Darmian but anyone watching last night would not want to buy him in the slightest.
One thing is for sure, after last night's performance there's quite a few Manchester United fringe players whose futures could soon come into question and Jose Mourinho will certainly be hoping to improve his squad strength.
