Jesse Lingard continued his poor run without a Premier League goal or assist since December as Manchester United fans wondered where the midfielder was during the Arsenal game.
Before the game United fans were hoping that Lingard would reprise his usual role as chief tormentor of the Gunners but instead he went off after 74 minutes, replaced by Mason Greenwood, having done very little.
Lingard recently assisted a goal for Greenwood in United's 1-1 draw with Rochdale in the Carabao Cup and before that his last contribution for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team had come against Unai Emery's Arsenal side in the FA Cup in January.

On Monday night he didn't do much at all in his 74 minutes on the pitch as the two Premier League sides fought out a 1-1 draw that showed how short of true quality either team are at times.
Scott McTominay's first half rocket, which opened the scoring, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's chip over David de Gea were the only true moments in the game.
Is Lingard good enough for his starting place?
