Everton Fans Want Big Sam Sacked After Post Burnley Loss Actions

Everton Fans Want Big Sam Sacked After Post Burnley Loss Actions

The loss to Burnley was Everton's third defeat in the last five Premier League games and fans aren't happy.

If Everton fans were unhappy at throwing away a lead against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon then they doubled down on that annoyance after the game because of what their manager did.

Sam Allardyce is the Brexit of football managers. If Brexit means Brexit then Big Sam means Big Sam, actually you know what you're getting with the Everton manager but not what you'll get from leaving the EU.

Check out our video of sporting fails:

If you decide to appoint Allardyce then you're going to get some quite dull football that will keep you safe from relegation but it won't exactly excite the fans so there's less leeway when results don't go your way.

The former Bolton Wanderers man did a good job when he first moved to Goodison Park at the beginning of the season and with so many other teams being utter rubbish it's unlikely the Toffees will go down this season.

But after losing to Burnley on Saturday fans booed the team off after the turgid second half display. In a post match press conference Sam was asked about his decision to replace Gylfi Sigurdsson and answered with a smirk:

The laugh of derision that followed it annoyed Everton fans who took to social media to call for their manager to go:

The former Crystal Palace and West Ham manager joined the club a few months into the season after Ronald Koeman had an appaling start to the season in Merseyside.

He signed a two year deal and started to improve a side who'd spent over £150 million in the summer but the recent performances and results haven't pleased fans.

How long can Allardyce stay for?
