It's the big match up today, Eastenders vs the FA Cup! Admittedly this one seems to be over already as the oldest cup competition in football has definitely won, and fans of the opposition are raging.
As everyone knows Friday nights are meant for punch ups in the Old Vic, Phil Mitchell scowling and someone turning out to be someone else's mum when all along we thought they were actually their dog, or something like that.
Because what Friday night wouldn't be complete without a good brawl in a pub.

Well tonight those who like a bit of drama, violence and last minute tension will be very happy to hear that Eastenders isn't on tonight and has instead been replaced by FA Cup football!
Whilst many of us will be living in bliss over the weekend watching FA Cup third round football fans of the BBC soap are not happy to learn they've been bumped off the schedule just so a load of lads who'd been more suited to Brookside than their show can kick a ball around for 90 minutes:
It's been pretty much wall to wall football for all of us since around December 23rd. We got Christmas Eve and Day off but since there's been a live game everyday other than the 29th.

As well as tonight's Merseyside derby there's games on Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the FA Cup before the Carabao Cup takes over on Tuesday and Wednesday.
