Arsenal Player Absolutely Slaughtered On Social Media After Woeful Performance

Arsene Wenger was hoping for a response following their Premier League defeat to Stoke City last weekend, but he got the complete opposite reaction.

Arsenal traveled to Liverpool for the Super Sunday clash, and produced a woeful performance with a few particular players subject to intense criticism.

The Arsenal fans lost their shit before a ball had even been kicked after Arsene Wenger dropped club record signing Alexandre Lacazette in favour of Danny Welbeck.

And they continued to vent their anger towards the French manager, as well as Mesut Ozil who was a passenger in the middle of the park.

Needless to say, Ozil was the brunt of all the jokes. Here are some of the reactions:

Liverpool ran riot against Arsenal. The clubs new number 9 bagged a brilliant header as Roberto Firmino opened the scoring. Sadio Mane then doubled their lead in the first half with a well taken goal from the left hand side.

Fellow speed merchant Mohamed Salah showed off his blistering pace as he intercepted Hector Bellerin before leaving him in his dust to make it three.

Back-to-back league defeats. Alexis Sanchez's contract saga rumbles on. Wenger's misery continues to mount up.
