It's Wednesday, which means it's a Champions League night and that means Arsenal fans are looking for something to do to take their minds off football. Unfortunately the internet was not the place for that.

For about 20 years Arsenal fans could guarantee that the Champions League was their playground and they'd be involved in a big game during the week. In the first half of the season at least before their inevitable loss to Bayern Munich.

This season for the first time under Arsene Wenger they are resigned to Thursday night football and the Europa League, desperately trying to avoid jokes from their north London counterparts at Wembley.

So whilst Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Spurs and Manchester United have been playing their fixtures last night and tonight the Gunners have been quietly getting ready for tomorrow night's game away against BATE Borisov.

To do that they've been getting into their new suits to take a lovely squad photo. Only posting the pictures on their official Facebook page has caused quite the uproar because of two players not shown. Can you spot who?

So who is missing exactly? Image: Facebook

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed that a certain Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are missing from the picture. The really eagle eyed viewers will also have seen that Francis Coquelin is not there but his injury makes him more likely to miss such an event.

Both Sanchez and Ozil's contracts run out at the end of the season and there's plenty of rumours that the pair will be leaving the Emirates sooner or later, with many expecting the Chilean could even be sold in January.

As you'd expect all the fans took it really well!

Still guys, at least Jack Wilshere is still there and his contract runs out at the end of the season too!
