Arsenal Beat Spurs In The North London Derby

For all the praise Mauricio Pochettino has improved Spurs and for as stale as Arsenal have sometimes have looked under Arsene Wenger it is still the Gunners who often come out on top at the Emirates and it was no different today.
Mauricio Pochettino has turned Spurs into genuine title contenders and over the last two seasons they were arguably the best team but the league is only played over one season at a time and they missed out on the title both times.
For all their improvement though Spurs have still struggled against the big clubs away from home and they continued that trend against their fierce north London rivals Arsenal this afternoon.
A controversial free-kick led to Shkodran Mustafi opening the scoring in the first half before Alexis Sanchez doubled the lead before the break and Pochettino's side couldn't find an answer in the second 45 minutes.

Apparently it was written that there was a power shift from Arsenal to Spurs. What a joke! Spurs are doing their usual......bottlers, the lot of them.

Best half of football I've seen us play in a VERY long time. Absolutely dominated Spurs. Thoroughly deserve to be 2-0 up.

Arsenal just made Spurs look utterly pedestrian, even after they rested their best players.

Shame Wenger can't extract these levels every game.
If Spurs don't win this it will be 1 win in 17 away games vs the top 6. But Poch puts pressure sha

This is supposedly the best Spurs side ever. Mesut Özil is single handedly playing them off the park.

Big gameitis again for Spurs thus far. For all their progress under Pochettino the lack of victories over the big teams is alarming.

This is the front three performance that made me think Arsenal could really contend this year. First time we have really seen it this season unfortunately.

No matter what form Spurs are in & despite having a better squad & dare some say, a better manager at the moment.... They'll always bottle or be worse off in a #NorthLondonDerby
