Arsenal Fan TV has become an online phenomenon this season but some Gunners fans want the supporter-ran YouTube channel banned from the Emirates concourse.
Presenter Robbie Lyle has become a household name amongst Gooners for his pre and post-match reports from every Arsenal game, and the fans who regularly appear alongside him have even developed their own celebrity status.
Arsenal Fan TV pulls in around 12 million views per month but it seems not everybody is overly enamoured with how they conduct themselves.
An Arsenal pub in North London is keen for Robbie and his crew to be barred from carrying out interviews in or around the club's plush stadium:
Would any of you be so kind as to back a petition to get Fan TV removed from the concourse and surrounding areas as it breeds contempt UTA- TheGunnersPub (@TheGunnersPub) June 1, 2017
While they are annoying, they aren't the reason for the problems at the club.- Arsene don't know. (@BlockNinety8) June 1, 2017
Think it's avoiding the real issues tbh
Where can we sign up for this?- Hassan Shobokshi (@HassanShobokshi) June 1, 2017
Ahhahahahhahahahahahhaa good luck with that one ahahhahahahhahahaha- Mr DT :copyright: (@MrDtAFC) June 1, 2017
Makes you a Laughing stock mate. When you lost I never use to give a shit, now I think " ew I can't wait for Arsenal fan tv"- Karl Fitness (@KFitness) June 1, 2017
Sign me the fuck up for that!!!- Chesney Arsenal (@ChesneyAFC) June 1, 2017
its our continous embarrassing performances on the pitch that are causing discontent. AFTV just shows how a section of our support feel- Gooner94 (@Terry_G_Bollea) June 1, 2017
I'd swim through shark infested waters to get my name on a petition for that. If it was for "fans" they wouldn't have the same morons on.- Jöe Martin (@JDMFourteen) June 1, 2017
Yes! I'm tired of media outlets indulging them. They do not speak for the majority and they are poisonous.- Titi (@lynne_2009) June 1, 2017
How are you going to remove them? They can film anywhere they like- SBG (@ScottyBoyGooner) June 1, 2017
Needless to say, the response to the call has been mixed, but it appears some folk are actually in agreement with the idea of a petition.
Personally, we'd be absolutely gutted to see Arsenal Fan TV taken off the air; it's provided us with hours and hours of entertainment.
