Gods recognise gods - The famous words hollered by Conor McGregor. And last summer, footballing god Cristiano Ronaldo met Conor McGregor.

Both men are superstars in their respective sports, and have become transcendent athletes with Ronaldo and McGregor dominating the news of late.

The Real Madrid attacker made a huge revelation last week by expressing his desire to leave the Spanish capital. He finds himself amidst a legal case regarding an alleged defrauding of Spanish authorities of €14.7 million for three years between 2011 and 2014.

A lack of club support has prompted Ronaldo to ply his trade elsewhere as he seeks for a transfer. Meanwhile, McGregor, just like Ronaldo, was involved in a equally-huge revelation following the confirmation of his fight against Floyd Mayweather.
