Football fans saw the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) in action this afternoon at the Confederations Cup, as Pepe's first-half 'goal' for Portugal was ruled out.
The new technology is being used at a major FIFA tournament for the first-time in history, as the Russian hosts prepare for next summer's World Cup.
After Cristiano Ronaldo has rattled the crossbar with a thunderous left-footed shot, his Real Madrid team-mate Pepe was on-hand to finish off the move from close-range.
