Henrikh Mkhitaryan Reveals Which Player He's Looking Forward To Playing With

Henrikh Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal at the perfect time, just when they've got a mini break and he can relax and get to know his new teammates at training. And the Armenian playmaker revealed which of those teammates he's looking forward to playing with.

On Friday night there's a good chance that Alexis Sanchez will make his debut for Manchester United, but it's won't be with the glitz and glamour he might have thought his transfer was worth.

Instead the Chilean will be down in Yeovil playing in the FA Cup fourth round at the home of the League Two side, Huish Park. Thanks to Nottingham Forest, Mkhitaryan and all his new colleagues have the weekend off.

The Armenian won't have to make his debut until Tuesday when the Gunners head to Swansea, who beat Liverpool on Monday, in their mid week Premier League clash.

Speaking to the club's website the former Borussia Dortmund player revealed that he's really looking forward to playing alongside fellow former Bundesliga player Mesut Ozil, saying:

"Here at Arsenal I know that lots of players move a lot and it's incredible the way [the team] plays. I will do my best to assist them as well.

"I think it will be really fun to play alongside Ozil. Everyone knows he's a fantastic player, he's an assist king! I look forward to it. [I admire] his intelligence, the way that he can understand the game, reads the game, plus the way he gives pace to the game and of course his final decision."

Both players have obviously made a name for themselves playing in the 'number 10' role but Mkhitaryan has had to get used to playing on the right during his time playing in the Premier League.

Asked whether he believed both players were able to play in the same team Arsene Wenger simply said, "They can play together of course."

Mkhitaryan could yet be reunited with a former teammate. Having played with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Dortmund the latest Arsenal player could be seeing the Gabonese striker again soon, with the Gunners continuing to be linked with a £60 million move for the Dortmund goal machine.

The latest transfer saga rages on but if it does happen then they will be re kindling what was a very productive relationship in Germany.
